Happy New Year! The sun hasn't risen, which is a little strange but then, not the strangest thing the City's thrown at us. It's a little noisy, though.

Tenjou Utena & Shinohara Wakaba have both returned! Tenjou-sempai's been within the City for approximately 2110 minutes, and Shinohara-sempai has been for approximately 4334 minutes. They've both joined Ohtori-san, Himemiya-san, and I in Building 8, Apartment 68 ... and it's a little crowded!

I had always meant to move out when Himemiya-san arrived (approximately 124,296 minutes ago). If anyone might be looking for a roommate, then I promise I am very little trouble! I tend to be out for most of the day, either occupied with my job or at the piano. If not, I'm content to live alone. I like the ticking. I'd been considering perhaps a bird or two, and this way, I'll be able to save without worrying about

More importantly, is there a registry of citizens? The closest I've been able to find is the Hall of the Missing, which doesn't help my interest. I've spoken with an actual angel in the City, and I know there are all kinds of dangerous or interesting people. It might be useful to have a proper database, if one doesn't already exist.

I know that really isn't the job of a Warden, or I might have made a more direct petition to one of our two.

I've a few ideas for structure that we can discuss come the first rehearsal. I managed to work the library well enough to locate a variety of sheet music fitting the season, which we may or may not use.

The first rehearsal is SATURDAY. DECEMBER 15. 9:30 AM sharp.

We have a lot to discuss, but please come expecting to begin play immediately! We don't have time to waste. I've located a man with some conducting ability, should we come to need that; we aren't an orchestra nor a band, but whether or not he'll be useful should be determined by our first rehearsal. I've secured a room in the Opera House for the our purpose.

A terrible thing happened.

On December 7th, I was affected by the curse of the red rocks, and I destroyed all of my notes. Every notebook, every scrap of paper! On the different shops, on worlds, citizens, on the library, on the curse days I’ve observed thus far, on the animals at the zoo, on everything.

I even deleted everything I’ve posted here, not that it was much – I had wanted it to be as close to perfect as it could be before compiling what I had publicly. I must confess; when midnight struck on the 8th I had something of a fit. I’ve been running around since, attempting to at least recover some preliminary data on the City itself.

Therefore, I apologize, but I may be making redundant inquiries of those I’ve already spoken with; I hope that I at least managed to remember everyone’s name!

Autor-san, please let me know if I’m ever obstructing your practice schedule. I’ve been trying to secure at least 120, 200 minutes on the piano daily. On that vein, I do have a query, Citizens!:

How many within the city have any ability musically?

I know some citizens have discussed caroling, and there has been talk of plays and the ballet performance of Romeo and Juliet. I think it might be nice if everyone able could gather and put on a concert. Has anyone else suggested this? It’s short notice, but I think we can put together something promising before the holiday! To examine my qualifications as a pianist, you may consider my resume.

I have settled as well as could be expected in an apartment with Tenjou Utena and Shinohara Wakaba. Tenjou-sempai recently burned half of the kitchen. It was a little frightening to see! I have spent investigating the shops on the surface of the City, especially the restaurants with Tenjou-sempai. Attended the Zoo with Shinohara-sempai and her friends, it was very impressive! There were animals from many more worlds than my own; I began a list, but was unable to complete in the interest of fairness to my companions.

I find myself drawn to the Xanadu, a garden of equally impressive grandeur. It is so much more than any of the gardens back home, and is somewhat reminiscent of that garden. I am a little concerned by my inability to find an exit, yet I am unsurprised. Furthermore, it would be terrible to find one for myself and, in telling the others, return to find it gone! I have kept myself occupied with these things and gathering notes, but I wonder if I will not eventually feel a compulsion to work (even as the City provides for me!) or learn further.

I would like to experiment with my ability to make coding to make some words difficult or impossible to see. If it is not much trouble, those with ability at hacking, could they attempt to hack the following? I am afraid my experience with the computer is only at the beginner’s level at current.
